Most people feel softer, more moisturized hair after the first few uses. Keep it up 2-3 times a week and you'll usually see a real difference in your scalp, shine and how full your edges look in about 3 weeks. Everyone's hair is different, so some see it sooner and some a little later.
A little goes a long way - a small scoop covers your scalp and lengths. Used 2-3 times a week, a 4oz jar lasts several weeks, longer if you mostly do scalp and edges. That's why most people grab 2 jars so they don't run out mid-routine.
Scoop out a small amount and rub it between your palms until it softens and melts. Work it into your scalp first, then smooth it through your lengths and ends. Do it 2-3 times a week - think ritual, not quick fix. New to batana? Patch test on your inner arm first.
La Mosquitia, Honduras, prepared the traditional Miskito way. It's 100% raw, unrefined batana - one ingredient, nothing added - and every batch is lab-tested. Ask us and we'll send you the lab report.
Real batana is dark amber to brown, thick in the jar, melts in your palms, and smells warm and roasted, almost like coffee. If it's light and creamy, pours like cooking oil, or smells like nothing, it isn't the real thing.
Shipping is free on 4+ jars and $6.99 on smaller orders. It arrives in 3-4 business days, or choose Expedited at checkout for 2 business days.
Give it an honest try. If you're not happy within 30 days, reach out and we'll refund you. No hoops, no hostage-taking.
Thinning edges. Breakage before your hair can grow. A dry scalp nothing seems to fix. You've tried the oils and the “miracle” products - and you're still stuck.
Batana is different. One raw, unrefined oil that deeply moisturizes and conditions - so hair feels softer, stronger, and less prone to breakage. No fillers, no gimmicks.
If hair oils have let you down before, it might be because you tried the wrong ones - refined, mass-produced, or even fake. Raw batana is a different story. Here's what actually sets it apart:

Most oils on the shelf are refined and stripped down. This is made the traditional way - not a modern imitation of it. Nothing added, nothing watered down.

Batana is rich in the natural fatty acids dry, brittle hair is missing. It feeds thirsty strands and helps hold that moisture in - so hair feels soft and conditioned, not straw-dry.

Miskito families in Honduras have made batana by hand for generations - for hair, cooking, and everyday care. Long before it ever went viral.
Find what sounds like your hair - and see exactly how batana helps.
When strands get dry and fragile they snap - and your edges are the first place it shows. Batana coats each strand with rich fatty acids and helps hold moisture in, so hair is softer, more pliable, and less likely to break as you handle it.
Dryness is the root of most of it. Batana is one of the richest natural sources of the fatty acids thirsty hair is missing - it sinks in, softens, and conditions, so your hair feels supple instead of crunchy.
A tight, flaky scalp needs real moisture, not more product buildup. Massaged in a few times a week, batana nourishes the scalp and helps it feel comfortable and cared-for again.
Hair looks dull when the surface is rough and starved of oil. Batana smooths and conditions the strand so light reflects off it again - leaving that soft, healthy sheen you can actually see.
The hardest question in this category isn't “does it work” - it's “is this even real batana oil?” Buyers have tried and failed to verify it themselves. So we don't ask you to take our word for it.
We check every batch, so the jar you reorder is the same as the first - same color, same scent, same oil. You never have to wonder if you got the real thing this time.
Batana has been used the same slow, honest way for generations. It works on nature's schedule, not a marketing calendar. Anyone selling you an overnight fix is selling you hype - we'd rather tell you the truth, earn your trust, and let the results be real ones. Use it consistently, give it real time, and it delivers the way tradition always has.
You shouldn't have to gamble on whether your jar shows up moldy, half-empty, or impossible to open. We built our standards around exactly the failures this category is known for:
A lot of people who say batana “didn't work” never had real batana - they got a diluted or fake jar. When you've got the raw, real thing, this is all it takes.
1Rub a little on your inner arm and wait a day - if you have sensitive skin.
2Real batana is thick and raw - not a runny liquid. Scoop out a small amount and rub it between your palms until it softens and melts.
3Work it into your scalp and lengths. Stay consistent over time - think ritual, not quick fix.
The honest comparison - no names, just the differences that matter in this category.

“This stuff is the REAL DEAL. I WISH I WOULD HAVE ORDERED THE 16OZ BUT SOON I WILL. IF YOU WANT REAL BATANA OIL PURCHASE THIS ONE 🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎”

Okay so I saw all over IG about Batana oil and I had to try it out. I got my Oil Nov.8,2023 and I started right away lol.Package was secured and well sealed. I used it for my hair and eyebrows because I had patchy bald spot in my eyes brows from plucking them so much and waxing. It's now Nov11,2023 and my patch is filling in. ONLY 4 Days and so much growth also thickness!!!! I'm very please with the product.only down fall is that the bottle was not fully filled. Had gaps when I push my finger in the jar to grab some Batana. I hope my next bottle come with more product especially now that they raise there price.

This product is great for dry brittle hair. I would give a five star for the moisture and suppleness-it provides. Four stars over all for the natural smokiness and coffee smell. Use this product while at home place a cap on your head. The smell eventually dissipates that's why they tell you to put it on leave it on for a few minutes and wash it out. I left it on overnight and reapplied it in the morning on some of my ends and then washed it out. I have sisterlocks . my hair is extremely long. And I used one fourth of the container so one container will probably provide you with four uses. If your hair is shorter you could probably use it more times. I would definitely order this product again, but don't use it unless you're ready to wash your hair.
Straight answers to the real questions in this category.
Fair question - it's the one people ask most in this whole category, and honestly, a lot of what's sold out there isn't the real thing. Ours is 100% raw, unrefined batana, sourced from La Mosquitia in Honduras, and we can show you exactly where it comes from. Real batana even tells on itself: that warm, roasted, coffee-like scent is hard to fake. Many sellers even add fake coffee scent to try to mimic it!
Batana is a rich, real oil, so the trick isn't the oil - it's how much you use. Work a small amount through your scalp and lengths a few times a week and it does the job; pile any oil on and it'll feel heavy. Start small, and let it earn its place.
Softness and shine show up after the first few uses. With steady use 2-3 times a week, most people see a real difference in their scalp and how full their edges look in about 3 weeks. Give it a full month before you judge it - and if you're not happy, the 30-day money-back guarantee has you covered.
Because it isn't plain palm oil. This is raw, unrefined batana - hand-harvested and prepared the traditional way by families in Honduras, then sealed and quality-checked before it ships. You're paying for real, traceable sourcing and the work behind it, not a cheap commodity oil with a nicer label. If refined palm oil is all you're after, the grocery store has it cheaper; this is a different thing entirely.
Yes - and it matters to us, because “the second jar smelled different” is one of the most common complaints in this category. We check every batch so your reorder looks, smells, and performs like your first. Same color, same roasted scent, same oil.
Yes. Under-filled jars, broken seals, and the occasional spoiled batch are real problems out there - so we fill every jar to the line, seal it properly, and quality-check it before it ships. What you pay for is what shows up at your door.
Batana is a raw, undiluted oil, so like any potent oil it won't agree with absolutely everyone. Start with a small amount, and do a quick patch test first if your scalp is sensitive. If you're pregnant, nursing, or have a scalp condition, check with your doctor.
